Seven content creators, a combined reach of more than 100,000 followers and an extraordinary industrial setting: at the first Kjellberg Creator Day on the F60 overburden conveyor bridge in Lichterfeld, digital exchange turned into real workshop practice.
On 29 May 2026, Kjellberg Finsterwalde hosted its first Kjellberg Creator Day. Together with seven well-known content creators from the welding and metalworking scene, the company brought a special project to life around metalworking, welding technology, plasma cutting and hands-on creativity.
The idea for the Kjellberg Creator Day had already emerged last year at the Urban Steel Rockstars trade fair in Frankfurt am Main. It became clear there just how closely classic industrial applications, genuine craftsmanship and digital communities are now connected. Many creators work in workshops, metalworking businesses or on their own projects every day and share their experience directly with a growing community.
Seven content creators from the welding and metalworking community were involved:
Together, the creators reach more than 100,000 people from the fields of metalworking, welding, skilled trades, workshop practice, vehicle construction and DIY.
This means they address exactly the target groups for whom Kjellberg Finsterwalde develops technologies and continues to advance them together with users.
The Kjellberg Creator Day began with guided tours through various areas of the Kjellberg Group in Finsterwalde and Massen.
The guests gained insights into plasma cutting technology, welding technology, electrode production, machining and the depth of manufacturing within the group of companies.
The focus was not only on products and technologies, but also on the people at Kjellberg Finsterwalde who work every day on solutions for cutting, welding and industrial metalworking. For many participants, it was particularly exciting to see how many production and application steps are covered directly within the Kjellberg Group.
The group then travelled together to the F60 overburden conveyor bridge in Lichterfeld. Against this extraordinary industrial backdrop, the creators and the Kjellberg team worked side by side on practical metal projects. Prepared components were used to create, among other things, a barbecue and a bench.
Various Kjellberg technologies and products were used, including plasma cutting technology, welding technology and welding electrodes from the company’s own production. Cutting, welding, assembly, filming and photography all took place directly on site.
In this way, technical application became a shared experience that connected craftsmanship, industry and digital reach.
“Our aim was not to create classic advertising. We wanted to bring together people who share the same passion for metal, welding technology and craftsmanship. The Kjellberg Creator Day showed how valuable direct exchange between users, the community and industry can be.”
Torsten Scheer, Managing Director Sales and Marketing at Kjellberg Finsterwalde
Personal exchange was at the heart of the event. Many of those involved had previously known each other mainly through social media. On the F60 overburden conveyor bridge, digital contacts turned into direct conversations, joint work and new connections. At the same time, the participants were able to experience technologies under real conditions, share their expertise and pass on their impressions directly to their communities.
Only a few days after the Kjellberg Creator Day, the creators published the first posts on their channels. The content achieved strong reach and generated numerous reactions far beyond the existing Kjellberg community. The depth of manufacturing, the hands-on production, the openness of the employees and the connection between traditional craftsmanship and modern production technology were highlighted particularly positively.
For Kjellberg Finsterwalde, the first Kjellberg Creator Day marked the starting point for further joint projects with the metalworking and welding community. The aim is to make modern welding technology, plasma cutting technology and industrial metalworking visible in a practical way and to further strengthen exchange between manufacturers, users and the digital community.
On our social media channels, we are sharing further insights into the first Kjellberg Creator Day: from the guided tours and behind-the-scenes moments to the joint work on the F60 overburden conveyor bridge in Lichterfeld.
