Central Control System for Tumbler Welding Plant
For the modernization of a 20 year old welding installation used for the regeneration of tumblers, Kjellberg Finsterwalde implemented a comprehensive control system retrofit.
Control units of welding columns, booms and the workpiece manipulator from different manufacturers were consolidated into a single central control system.
The retrofit improves system operability, increases process reliability and ensures long term availability of the existing welding plant.
