Taking automated plasma cutting to the next level

Automated cutting systems deliver precise and productive results – but when different machining tasks require a change in torch configuration, the automated process can be interrupted.

 

At EuroBLECH 2026, Kjellberg Finsterwalde will demonstrate how plasma cutting, robotics and automated torch changing can be combined to create a continuous production process. The focus will be on the iQ-Series and the Q-Torch Auto Change System.

 

Automatically interchangeable torch heads allow different machining tasks to be integrated into the production process. The required torch heads are kept ready in flexibly positioned docks and can be prepared outside the running cutting process. This reduces manual intervention and supports high system availability.
