Kjellberg Finsterwalde presented CUTFIRE, KSI 1000 and automated welding applications on site
On 10 and 11 June 2026, Kjellberg Trading s.r.o. invited customers, partners and visitors to its open days in Martin, Slovakia. The event marked the company’s 15th anniversary. Kjellberg Finsterwalde was present on both days and supported the anniversary event with practical insights into plasma cutting technology, welding technology and automation.
The exhibits included the mobile CUTFIRE plasma cutting system, the KSI 1000 inverter power source and a cobot application for automated welding. Visitors were able to experience various technologies directly at the systems and ask specific questions about possible areas of use, operation and practical applications.
CUTFIRE stands for flexible air plasma cutting in manual and mechanised applications. The series comprises six portable units from 35 to 125 amps. Models from 45 amps upwards are equipped with a CNC interface and a marking function, allowing them to be integrated into production environments.
The KSI 1000 and the cobot application also attracted great interest. Questions focused in particular on automated welding technology, practical implementation in production and possible areas of use in metal construction, industry and craft. On site, Nils Manig and Sascha Rudnik explained the technology directly at the systems, answered application related questions and held numerous technical discussions with visitors.
In addition to Kjellberg Finsterwalde, other dealers and exhibiting companies from the fields of tools, grinding, cutting and welding were also represented. This created a practical exchange around metalworking, production technology and industrial applications on both days.
“The strong interest in the applications showed how important direct technical exchange is. When visitors can experience the systems live, ask questions and compare applications, they gain a very concrete understanding of the possibilities offered by our technologies,” says Sascha Rudnik, Head of Submerged Arc Welding and Retrofit at Kjellberg Finsterwalde.
The 15th anniversary underlines the continuous development of Kjellberg Trading s.r.o. as a contact for customers and partners in Slovakia. As part of the Kjellberg Group, the company helps to make cutting technology, welding technology and application related consulting available close to the market.
