At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025, Kjellberg will be presenting the new KSI 1000, a stand-alone inverter power source that combines maximum energy efficiency, intuitive handling and exceptional robustness in a single device.

The KSI 1000 impresses with its pure performance: 1,000 amps at 100% duty cycle and up to 2,000 amps in parallel operation of two devices. At the same time, it is particularly environmentally friendly: its energy efficiency exceeds the requirements of the EU Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC. It thus sets new standards for sustainable welding technology.

For maximum integration, the KSI 1000 offers not only the proven KA interface but also the conventional Kjellberg interface and a modern BUS-interface for connection to higher-level control systems. This allows it to be seamlessly integrated into existing processes and opens up a wide range of possible applications.

Whether for automated submerged arc welding on precise control systems or for semi-mechanised work with the robust UP tractors of the KA series, the KSI 1000 delivers tailor-made solutions wherever the highest welding quality is required. Thanks to the free choice between CC and CV welding modes and its mobility thanks to swivel and fixed castors, it remains flexible in use and reliable in operation.

With the KSI 1000, Kjellberg is continuing a success story that began in the 1930s with the development of submerged arc welding, combining state-of-the-art technology with the reliability of a brand that stands for "Made in Germany" quality worldwide.
