Fast and Precise Cuts Thanks to the Q 1500

The plasma power source is used for bevel cutting

The company Metallbau Mühlbacher in the Austrian Wipptal, in Navis, has been active in the field of metal construction since 2016 and specialises primarily in the construction of railings and columns as well as stairs and general sheet metal processing.

The Q 1500 from Kjellberg is installed as the plasma power source. The 3D cutting system can be used to automatically apply bevels for weld seam preparation. Metallbau Mühlbacher usually uses it to process sheet thicknesses of up to 25 mm. The company has even successfully carried out contract cutting for external companies, so that the machine, which is already well utilised, is used even more and the portfolio is expanded.
