How can additive manufacturing processes be used industrially for large metal components? Directed Energy Deposition (DED) combines different technologies and process steps – from the materials used and process and system technology through to quality assurance.
The Added Conference 2026 brings together experts from industry and science to explore current DED technologies, industrial applications and the entire process chain. Kjellberg Finsterwalde and OSCAR PLT will jointly participate in the LiveDemo@OpenCampus.

The Added Conference is the successor event to the SAAM Forum and focuses on DED technologies and their industrial application in 2026. Keynotes, deep-dive presentations and the LiveDemo@OpenCampus combine knowledge transfer with direct exchange between industry and science.
