Rutile-coated high-performance electrode for welding of stainless, heat-resistant and low-temperature steels and cast steel types, on ferritic steels of the same grade and similar heat-treatable steels / cast steel types. It is suited for surfacing and plating on sealing faces on water, steam and gas valves made of unalloyed and low-alloy steels / cast steel grades. The electrode is ideal for surface welding on high-wear rail parts and can be used for the reconditioning and repair of tram, plant and coal tracks – for working temperatures up to 475 °C, weld metal hardness for surface welding: approx. 300 HB in the first layer (unannealed).
