The nickel-base electrode Finox 182 is suited for high-quality joints and platings on similar and dissimilar alloys at working temperatures from -196 °C up to 550 °C. The fully austenitic weld metal is chemically stable, cold-tough, creep-resistant, highly heat-resistant and resistant against embrittlement. This electrode is well suited for joint and surface welding on the following base metals: 1.4876, 2.4816, cold-tough nickel steels as well as mixed compounds, e. g. 1.4583 with 16Mo3.
