During plasma cutting with temperatures of up to 850°C, the plasma torch needs to be protected additionally against the enormous radiation heat. A double-walled jacket with dual-circuit cooling for the plasma torch and special cover hoses guarantee a reliable cutting process under these special operating conditions. Furthermore, compared to mechanical cutting processes the workpiece is not deformed.
