The Kjellberg welding devices of the RSV series make it easier to clamp, tilt and rotate workpieces with circular cross-section. The units are suited for manual and fully automated welding.
Due to the compact design, the clamping devices of the RSV series can be used in almost all surroundings from industrial workplaces to the assembly on construction sites. The adjustment of the devices to the requirements of pipe welding guarantees optimum welding quality and low production costs.
By using the RSV clamping devices, each component can be welded in identical position and without seam interruption. With the standard manual tilting function (max. tilt up to 135°), each component can be tilted in ideal position. Optionally, the tilt drive is also available with electric motor.
The Kjellberg units of the RSV series operate on the basis of the 3-roller clamping technology, i.e. the workpiece is positioned between one or two driving rollers and one pressure roller. Thus, centric clamping even of curved workpieces can easily and quickly be done.
The rotating speed of the welding device is infinitely adjustable with a foot control. Thus, welding is independent of the workpiece diameter and a high seam quality can be achieved.
