Submerged-Arc Welding Automat KA 7-UPP
 The KA 7-UPP is Kjellberg's most powerful standard automat for submerged-arc welding with parallel wires. The self-driven welding automat is equipped with a speedometer-driven carriage with all-wheel drive and is suited for welding plane sheets as well as inner tubes according to individual requirements. The automat can be led on rails, flanges and profiles by means of infinitely adjustable support rolls.
The modular design of the KA series allows the flexible adjustment of the KA 7-UPP to different welding tasks. Freely adjustable cross supports for positioning the welding head and two different gauges open up a wide range of applications. The conversion to other technologies can also be done quickly and easily.
In combination with the Kjellberg power sources, nominal values for welding current, arc voltage and welding speed can be pre-adjusted which makes it easier to control the entire process. Separately selectable start-up and end crater filling phases as well as integrated automatic ignition and burn-free guarantee optimum welding quality and a maximum degree of automation. The integrated laser pointer ensures professional seam tracking for optimum seam geometry.
