Submerged-Arc Power Source GTH 802
The mobile rectifier GTH 802 delivers up to 800 A DC for submerged-arc welding (SAW) with constant voltage characteristics. In connection with the Kjellberg welding units of the KA series the nominal values can be steplessly adjusted and confirmed for the entire welding process. Voltage fluctuations of up to 10% can be compensated.
The standard equipment of the SAW power source includes an integrated power factor compensation for connection to 63 A mains sockets.
Due to high-quality craftsmanship the GTH 802 is the ideal power source for mechanised, partly and fully automated welding in tank facility construction, boiler construction, shipbuilding, bridge building and industrial assembly.
The GTH 802 has a robust carriage. Four eye hooks allow the easy and flexible use of the rectifier. Dust-proof electronics and the standard remote control socket provide more freedom during SA welding.
The GTH 802 is characterised by reliable ignition behaviour and a stable arc. Digital displays make it easier to monitor the entire welding process. The galvanically separated control unit and the thermal safety switch guarantee high operational safety during submerged-arc welding.
