Submerged-Arc Welding Power Sources
The welding rectifiers of the GTH series are especially suitable for submerged arc welding (SAW). The power sources with horizontal load characteristic allow welding with voltages of up to 1400 A. With the welding transformer of the type W 1005 VC we have extended our offer of SAW power sources. This AC power source was designed for tandem and multi-wire welding with up to 1000 A. The main characteristics of these SAW power sources is their flexibility. They can be used for mechanised, semi-automated and fully automated welding with high seam quality.
