All submerged-arc welding systems with pressure tanks made by Kjellberg Finsterwalde can optionally be operated with a suction turbine. It creates a vacuum in the separator tank and transfers the excess flux from the weld to the separator. From there it can be returned manually or automatically to the pressure tank.
