Flux Storage Tank and Flux Recovery
The flux supply and recovery are important parts of the entire submerged-arc welding (SAW) process. The flux required for welding is fed into the process from tanks of different sizes. For a cost-saving welding process, excess flux is sucked off directly behind the welding head and returned to the storage tank. This way, the flux circulation minimises the loss of material and extends the period of use of the automated welding system.
