Kjellberg Finsterwalde supports regional activities. Finsterwalde is the only city in Germany which may call itself the City of Singers. This name is connected with a long tradition of singing and making music together and finds its climax in the Singing Festival which is organized voluntarily every two years. The membership in the Singing festival association and the promotion of initiatives of the music school are our contribution to the preservation of this tradition.
We regularly acknowledge voluntary commitment in sports and in child and youth work with donations for specific projects.

Mit leuchtenden Augen nahmen die Kinder des AWO-Kinderheims beim Weihnachtskonzert der Musikschule am ersten Advent ihren neuen Gokart in Empfang. Auch die Finanzierung des Marimbaphons ist nun gesichert.
