Since 1 January 2010, Kjellberg Finsterwalde Schweißtechnik und Verschleißschutzsysteme GmbH has had a new managing director. Heiko Schröder has profound knowledge of the market for automated welding technology. “I want to continue on the successful path which Kjellberg Finsterwalde has chosen especially with regard to submerged-arc technology.”
His predecessor Dr. Todd Deißer is to be development manager with immediate effect. His work will focus on new developments for heavy duty welding and surfacing technique. “In March, we will introduce a new welding tractor and in the second quarter the plasma powder deposition welding technology will be ready to go into production,” announces Schröder.
