With an opening ceremony in front of 120 invited guests and an open house day the new head office of the Kjellberg Finsterwalde Elektroden und Zusatzwerkstoffe GmbH at the Brandenburg location in Massen near Finsterwalde was inaugurated on 12 September 2008.

Ground breaking electrode factory Kjellberg Finsterwalde 15 October 2007

Breaking Ground for New Electrode Factory

On 12 October 2007, the ground breaking ceremony for a new factory took place in the neighbour community of Finsterwalde. The factory will include a hall with a production area of 2,200 sqm and an adjoining two-story building with approx. 400 sqm office space, social and laboratory sections.  20 Kjellberg employees, 14 of them in the production, will will have the pleasure of enjoying considerably improved working conditions as of 2008. The best conditions will thus be created for the planned expansion of the production of high-alloyed and special electrodes and the creation of further jobs.
