Laser Technology Completes Plasma Cutting System

Possible combination of laser cutting and plasma cutting At the trade show Blechexpo in Stuttgart, Kjellberg Finsterwalde presents for the first time a fibre laser system. In the future, the XFocus 1000 will be available as ideal addition to all guiding systems suited for plasma cutting for cutting thin sheets.

The laser system XFocus 1000 is a compact system for cutting and marking unalloyed steel of up to 10 mm and alloyed steel of up to 5 mm material thickness. Thanks to the technology database integrated into the control unit, a wide range of cutting speeds can be realised, thus making it possible to adapt the XFocus 1000 to simple as well as dynamic guiding systems either separately or also in combination with a plasma cutting system.

The scope of delivery includes the 1 kW fibre laser with optical fibre and the laser cutting head as well as the control unit with integrated technology database and the gas console, an integrated cooling unit and the height control unit in order to ensure the precise distance between cutting head and material.
