Based on the HiFocus technology which has already been successfully established, CONTOUR CUT has been developed for cutting mild steel. The results are cuts of best quality without time-consuming after-treatment at low costs.
This newest development ensures a further improvement of the quality with respect to contour accuracy, angularity and surface quality. When cutting small inside and outside contours, small webs and other fine contours, the angular deviations range between 2 and 4 according to the standard DIN EN ISO 9013. The difference of the angular deviations at the different outsides of the contour is only marginal and the cut surface is smooth. In particular small holes and slotted holes with the diameter and the material thickness at a ratio of 1:1 can be cut. This results in improved cylindricity and above all excellent repeatability and dimensional accuracy.
Customers benefit not only from the excellent cut quality. While other manufacturers require additional equipment, Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers this technology as standard! Thus, our customers keep an overview of the costs without expensive additional components.
Starting in June 2011, CONTOUR CUT will be available as standard in all new HiFocus-plasma cutting systems with the plasma torches PerCut 200/210 and PerCut 440/450, respectively. Customers who already have one of the HiFocus systems can also use the new technology after retrofitting.
